They could even find out how Repair Cafe Winchester is giving old instruments a new lease of life. One of the highlights of the day was the spontaneous 38-piece community band performance at the end of the event. This was a truly magical experience, bringing together people from all ages and backgrounds in a joyful performance. Marie O’Brien, from The Amazing Fusion Choir, said: “The finale of Sound Winchester 25 was absolutely magical! The Community Jam brought together so many different voices and instruments in a truly joyful performance. It was incredible to see the energy and spirit of collaboration from everyone – the mix of people from all ages and backgrounds coming together in harmony really captured the essence of this wonderful event. It was a perfect ending to a day of music, creativity, and shared joy!”
