Early Beginnings

Growing up in Trinidad and Tobago, Marlon and Sean were immersed in the island’s vibrant music scene. They spent countless hours attending concerts and festivals, soaking up the energy of calypsonians and soca artists. Their love for live sound was sparked by the infectious rhythms and melodies that filled the air.

Now, I’m not sure if that’s a story worth sharing. But it’s something I learned a lot from. That was a huge mistake, and it was a huge learning experience. One of the biggest mistakes I ever made was when I was 9 years old and I wanted to be a DJ. I told my parents, and I was so excited to start my DJ career. But then my parents told me, No, you’re going to be a doctor. My parents were not supportive of my passion for DJing. They wanted me to follow a more traditional career path.
